Kabutare Technical Secondary School

Kabutare Technical Secondary School aims are (i): to promote technical training in order to provide competent graduates on the labour market, ii) promote innovation and entrepreneurial culture and professional ethics, iii) to empower neighbouring community with basic technical skills for social socio-economic development. Kabutare Technical Secondary School was created on 01/07/1937 and operates its activities on land equal to 68 ha. The school has actually 5 trades: Agriculture/crop production, Food processing, animal health, Forestry and accounting. It has also 765 trainees among them 318 are boys and 443 are girls. Kabutare Technical Secondary School has conceived a project related to Borehole production and pipeline installations from source point to storage tanks. This project is for alleviating the expenses held for carrying out the irrigation during the training and the dry season. The required and estimated budget for implementing the project is 22000 Euros.
